I interviewed for 2 separate UX design jobs at Truist about a month apart from each other. For the first one, I had a 30 minute interview with a UX director. He was very easy to talk to and the interview felt more like a conversation than an interrogation. It didn't work out, but he was nice enough to recommend me to another UX manager. About a month later, I got an interview for another UX job at Truist, which may have been with the same manager I was referred to, but I'm not sure. However, I automatically went to the final round after answering some screening questions via email. This was an hour long panel interview with 4 interviewers. I presented 2 portfolio projects and they asked me additional questions. Everyone was very welcoming and I would have been happy to join the team, but this one also did not work out unfortunately. The HR person who coordinated by interviews was very nice and transparent and actually told me I was one of 6 people interviewed for the final round which was helpful to know. She even gave updates on when I could expect to hear back without me having to ask.
