The interview process was clearly AI-driven and included a set of well-structured, thoughtful questions that effectively assessed my skills and experience. However, I personally would have appreciated more human interaction, as a personal touch can make the experience feel more engaging, authentic, and conversational.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
One of the questions they asked focused on API design principles, specifically how I approach building scalable and maintainable APIs. I discussed the importance of RESTful conventions, clear endpoint naming, proper use of HTTP methods, versioning strategies, and ensuring robust error handling.
I had a chat with the recruiter and she was great. She provided me more information upfront than i have ever received in a phone screen before. It went for about 20 minutes.
First interview was mostly tech but 2nd was were i met the team and understood more about the project.
Interesting work, interesting team, they came across very busy but i guess that's why they were hiring for more people.
Company sounds cool, lots of people initiatives and it seemed like i would get alot of freedom to lead my role.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Trideca in Sept 2025
Interview
Spoke with the HR person a couple of times. The technical interview was rescheduled two times and when the time the interview arrived, the Trideca team was 15 min late.
The interview consisted of many SwiftUI related questions along with questions around swift concurrency and actors. I enjoyed the technical side of the interview and imagine the opportunities to learn off your peers would be good.
The communication wasn't great throughout the process. I wasn't notified of the outcome, either way, which I don't think is great.
