Interview was very easy to set up and that's where things stopped being easy and professional. The original manager I planned on meeting no-showed for my 11:30 am interview, and she did not communicate this with not only the front desk staff, but more importantly ME - the person who set aside their time for them. When the very nice front desk receptionist called to see where the original manager was, a second manager told her to ask me if I could reschedule in 1.5 hours at 1:30 pm, and I did. I was back in the office at 1:15 and by 1:45 the front desk receptionist once again called to see where the 2nd manager was because AGAIN NO COMMUNICATION and she said she'd be there at 2 pm - 30 mins late. The lack of communication, and no respect for a person's time were HUGE red flags. I do not know how a professional employees, especially a hiring manager no-shows and is late to an interview TWICE in one day. I'm sure if the potential employee did that it would be an issue. Additionally, they advertised the job at $18-19 an hour, but during the interview she said $17 per hour. False advertising of wage range to get people in the door to interview is a very foul practice. Moreover, their company has 3 locations in the tri-valley and they are paying less than In-N-Out, but yet want someone with lots of experience. You either pay for experience or a you pay for a human body with no experience to show up. Choose honestly. It was appalling that they wasted my time MULTIPLE times. No wonder their front desk ad is ALWAYS up and they supposedly just can't find anyone.
