Interview
Very standard hiring process:
1. Applied on Traveler's website, and was contacted by recruiter about 2 weeks later.
2. Did a phone screening interview with recruiter.
3. After a week scheduled an panel interview with 3 managers.
It was virtual video interview due to covid-19. The managers were all very nice. They made the virtual interview easy and pleasant.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Typical behavior questions:
- Tell me about yourself
- Why do you want to leave your current company
- How do you build relationship with agents
- Why are you interested in this role
- How do you handle a recent stressful situation
The process was very welcoming. They asked a lot of personal questions as to why I want work there as well as experience that I have. There’s a screening interview and then there are about three interviews after that with different members of the team.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Travelers (Alpharetta, GA) in Mar 2025
Interview
The interview was with 2 managers and their manager. They were very personable and easy to talk to. I felt like the interview was like having a casual conversation. I honestly didn’t think I got the job because the interview ended on time and I wasn’t sure if something I said ruined my chance but they offered me the job the next day.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Travelers (Charlotte, NC) in Oct 2024
Interview
Casual and loaded with typical generic interview questions one would expect when dealing with a national insurance carrier. Questions around past experiences and "How would you handle....xyz" questions. Nothing out of left field.
