Recruiter found me via LinkedIn and emailed me to ask if I wanted to interview. I met with Recruiter for 30 min call and they were such a pleasure. Had me excited to be part of the interview process. Advised I would have 4 additional interviews after this screening. To meet with another Implementations Specialist, to meet with the Director of Operations and then a final presentation. I agreed to this. After the Director of Operations, met with me--suprise!--I would have an additional meeting with a C-level executive. I thought this be pretty excessive for a mid-senior level position that would not be supervising employees. But since I had came so far and had such nice conversation with the others prior, I agreed. Met with the C-level executive and also had a pleasant call. Finally made it to the presentation. And received feedback on how they enjoyed the presentation and my explanation but would have liked to see more of my explanation in the slides how. Hard to do when you don't know the companies software in detail. No one ever even followed up to say I didn't get the job. After 4 weeks of interviews and taking an entire weekend to put together a presentation. Not sure why it took 6 interviews to figure out I would not be a good fit. But maybe this is a sign of how this company actually operates.
