I applied online. I interviewed at Trajector (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2026
Interview
First round interview with HR was fairly straightforward -- simply discussing the bullet-points listed on my resume.
The second round interview went into a bit more depth about LLMs and RAG-based systems. I had noted that I had limited experience.
The HR manager then emailed me saying they were moving on with other candidates, as they didn't believe I had the Python experience they were looking for (although they didn't provide an opportunity to showcase my Python skills).

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Trajector in Mar 2026
Interview
The interview process was fairly easy! It was broken down into two parts, both virtually to meet with Talent Acquisition (for first interview) as well as HR (to make the final decision). Both interviews consisted of giving a brief description of why you want to work for the company, prior job experiences, and giving a brief description of what assets you'll bring to the company.

Glad the process felt easy and straightforward. It sounds like the team kept things clear and focused throughout. Appreciate you sharing your experience with us.
Interviewers were having good knowledge and were asking good system design questions as well.
SQL, python were basically really strong that they were looking at.
Interview was mid to hard level
