Trainual Senior Software Engineer interview questions

I went through the entire interview process at Trainual, which consisted of first meeting the Director of Engineering, then meeting two engineers to talk about my values and ways I give and receive feedback, then a take home project to solve a "real-world" problem, then a follow up interview/code review on that project with two engineers. The whole process, from first communication with the recruiter, to meeting everyone in the pipeline, was very kind and thoughtful. The project was implementing a full-stack solution and did take some time to complete. The code review was really fun and an opportunity to talk through my decisions and what optimizations I would make in the future. Although I did not get an offer, I learned a lot from the process and greatly enjoyed everyone I met.

The entire interview process with Trainual was extremely organized and well communicated. After applying online I was contacted by Marlowe to setup an initial phone call to align on my career and goals. She guided me through the process and what each interview would entail. She has set the highest standard for me in what a point of contact should be for an interview process. From there I had a few technical interviews with various managers, engineers, and the higher level folks including the Director of Engineering Zach and the VP of engineering Arash. Talking with everyone on the team and having the opportunity to meet them was a pleasure. Every person I talked with throughout the process was extremely friendly and welcoming making the interview process a breeze. I never felt stressed, overwhelmed, or out of touch with what next steps were. Other tech companies should strive to reach the level of interviewing Trainual has accomplished.
