When a store was opening in my area, before it opened (about 2-3 weeks before) the job posted to their web site. Their claim is to read each and every resume and cover letter. I do believe that. I received a telephone call a few days later to set up a phone interview. The person who called was not the person I would interview with. My first strike against me was when I answered the phone for the interview I said cheerfully "Hello (the persons name)" and it was the wrong person. The interview was very obviously taken back and maybe offended? After a phone interview, personal interviews would be set up with the "Captian" Store Manager of the store.
