Fairly standard interview process. First-round was a phone screen with a recruiter. The second round was with the COO. The second round interview was a complete mess. The COO stated multiple times how she has been up since 6 am working and how it's almost been 12 hrs on the job. She didnt prepare any questions for me and kept asking me if I had any questions. I asked her several questions for which she gave me short vague answers. She mentioned several times that she had another meeting right after our interview and also answered several pings during our conversation. She lost track of what she was saying several times because she was messaging others during the interview.
The recruiter got back to me several days later saying they hired someone else but would like me to interview for another position. I interviewed with the COO (again) along with someone else this time. The other person had prepared a couple basic questions. COO prepared nothing again!
Later was denied the second job. After going through the interview process, I realized the company and its management is not for me. From the outside, they seem extremely unorganized. They are trying to grow quickly but I dont think leadership, in general, has the proper and adequate experience to take on the challenge.
