Received a phone call shortly after applying, where they were asking fundamental questions to get an understanding of you and your interest in the company before they bring you in for an in-person interview.
The interview went well. It started off with an overview of the company and the position that I was applying for. We then when into my background to see if I would be an ideal candidate for this position. I was then offered a second interview that is in person.
