I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Topgolf (Scottsdale, AZ) in Jan 2018
Interview
Group interview for 3 hours. You spend 270 seconds of the three hours talking about yourself for the actual interview. They don't even look at your resume and only ask where you worked before. It's all about how you interact with everyone else there. They can "teach the necessary skills but they can't teach personality."
They just asked about how previous experiences could help and what do I have to improve on which I said was how I can get too friendly with customers but it ended up being a good thing and they’re looking for that.
I applied online. I interviewed at Topgolf (Louisville, KY) in Nov 2025
Interview
Was a group interview where we played games and were put into a giant group circle to be asked personal questions in front of everyone. Examples of the questions- “What do you want to be remembered for?” “What are your passions?” “Who is your role model and why?”
After - 1.5 hours of that awkward and tedious huddle we were taken to speed date style interviews and finally to role play what our job position was (mine was a server)
The role play part was so awkward and I definitely bombed. I didn’t get the job and wasted 2 hours of my life!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What experience do I have, tell me about yourself, what do you do for fun
Speed dating style. Focused on what teamwork means to me, how I can contribute to a team, & why it’s important to be a leader and also a active listener other times
