Interview lasted an hour. You will be expected to explain in quite a lot of detail. Panel consisted of 3 people including service user.
Questions were:
Can you give an example of a time when you supported someone in a crisis, how did you support them and what did you do? Can you give examples of crisis situations?
Can you explain what the relevant acts and laws are surrounding this area of work? I.e Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, Equality Act, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguarding etc (I would recommend doing a little research on this if you don't know much about them!!)
Can you explain a time when you helped someone achieve something?
Can you explain how you are able to involve, include, and empower others and support them through their recovery?
Why is it important to involve service users i.e. include them in the interview process?
Can you explain a time when you participated in meetings and groups?
What experience do you have with regards to supervising others?
What difficulties could you be faced with when supporting service users?
What challenges were faced with in your workplace and how did you overcome them?
Why is team work important?
How would you describe yourself in 3 words.
What are your admin skills like?
