Application
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Tide (Hyderābād) in Jul 2025
Interview
The interviewer was polite, and the conversation started off well. The interview was originally scheduled for 45 minutes but ended up stretching to 180 minutes with detailed, use case–oriented questions. A few days later, I followed up with HR, who informed me that my profile was shortlisted. After that, complete radio silence—calls went unanswered, and emails were met with vague promises like, “I’ll get back to you by EOD”, which never happened. 19 days later, after another follow-up email from my side, I finally received a generic rejection email.
Advice: Don’t waste your time interviewing with companies that don’t respect a candidate’s time. There are plenty of good companies out there that do.

Question 1
Type of Prompting Strategy
Question on RAG Pipeline
Decent process. Most sensible/mature guys was the Data Engineer. The Head of Data Science tried to kind of intimidate but I guess what they are trying to see is if you can handle pressure. The folks are fresh Oxbridge graduates who hold fancy position like VP, Head of Data Science etc.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Tide in Feb 2021
Interview
1 technical round
2 coding round for a use case with almost no details -no follow up call to understand requirement
3 technical round with UK Lead DS asked about projects, frameworks used etc
4 Director round from -this guy thinks he is the smartest in the world where he provides no information about what kind of data i need to work on gives a hypothetical case study where I need to figure out what data can I have and then goes on grilling without providing much information
Overall its a time waste . I understood that these guys do not have any clarity on the kind of requirements they have , neither they are clear on what skills to look for , Do not waste your time by taking part in their interview process
