I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Tibra (Sydney) in Jul 2024
Interview
Initial assessment with a 48 hour timeframe, first section is estimating the house prices based on a database of other house sizes and prices, second section is finding the maximum sum of a binomial tree with different values at each node and third part is estimating the ppm of mercury in water filling in nan values. Then an online assessment with numerical, patterns, logic and finally English comprehension, then next step is video interview (answering questions to a video not a person) with some maths questions in there. Next step is a data analysis task where you have 2 hours to do analysis on 8 signals you are given and an asset and see how they relate to each other, then present findings and work with a partner to make a trading strategy. I believe after this there are 2x technical interviews and a final interview. The process is way way way too long, then you will get a generic rejection email and no feedback on how you went. Probably isn’t worth the time you take to do all the assessments, I’d try other firms before bothering with their process.
Lengthy interview process with online coding test, behavioural assessment, HR screening, pair programming, dev interview, quant interview. They are quite responsive during the process, but apply only if you are prepared for significant time commitment and a generic rejection mail even after several rounds
