I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The World Company (Lawrence, KS) in Feb 2012
Interview
From the initial call for phone screening to the final interview The World Company was swift in getting back to me on the status of the interview, even if it was to touch base. I received an email and a call requesting to visit with me about the position that I applied for. The first interview was a 30 minute phone screening that asked qualifying questions regarding the position. Towards the end of the phone screening situational questions were asked such as, "What do you do blow off steam?" I was contact a few days later requesting that I come in for an in-person Interview with the HR Representative and a member of the staff (The Digital Sales Manager). The interviews were separate and 1:1. First I met with the HR representative. I was asked qualifying and situational questions again. I interviewed with the Digital Sales Manager. I felt this was the most difficult part of the process. This interview was the "Can He Do the Job" part. After the interview The Digital Sales Manager told me that they would be arranging another interview with the VP of Sales and Marketing and the Marketing and Creative Director. I received a call a few days later to come in for the final interview with VP of Sales and Marketing and the Marketing/ Creative Manager. The interview lasted about an hour. I was contacted a few days later with the offer from the HR Representative. The entire process was methodical and clean. I accepted and started within 2 weeks of the offer. Everyone was very professional and friendly. From the receptionist in the lobby to everyone I spoke with I felt like it was a warm and positive environment.
