Phone screen followed by in person interview. The phone screen is pretty standard -- they're just going to want to hear you talk about your work and why you're interested in The Solution Lab. The litmus test here is just to sound normal and somewhat intelligent. The in-person interview consists of fairly standard fit interviews, e.g., why do you want to work with us, what do you see yourself doing five years from now, tell me about a leadership experience you've had, tell us about your research, etc. However, the interviewer is likely going to be very, very rude. The interviewer will insult your scientific/professional work, your communication skills, and may outright make fun of you. My particular interview was 2 on 1, and I started to suspect that they were playing 'good cop bad cop', but then I found that this was the general demeanor of the offending interviewer, which will carry on to varying degrees if you work with this person on a project.
