Relaxed. I met with the Area Director and the Development director. Initially I sent them a resume in responce to an online job opening. The developement director called me and did a preinterview over the phone. They then asked me to come in for the interview.

I met with two different people. The process was simple and included typical interview questions. It took about 30 minutes and allowed me to ask questions about the organization and the job duties.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Salvation Army (Coeur d'Alene, ID) in May 2017

Excellent communication throughout the process. Had 2 interviews plus provided a project summary. Each interview lasted an hour and a half. I was very confident, but still did not receive an offer.

Very professional. Went into great detail about all of the operations at their site. Also, discussed the types of needs for volunteers. We also discussed their funding sources and projects that have been dropped and or postponed due to lack of funding. Of course, the history of the Salvation Army was also reviewed. My experiences, duties and responsibilities were expounded upon.
