I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Provato Group (Brecksville, OH) in Sept 2018
Interview
typical recruiter group trying to make money. They must have found my resume copy on a job board. Starts with email saying interested in setting up a call. I returned the call and have brief conversation with rep. They ask for my consent to send resume to company. Next email they ask for details about last job and references, and that they would submit my resume to company. Next received email asking for word format of my resume. Ok so far... Nothing strange. Next day i get email asking for details about last employer, list of companies i have interviewed with, and a paragraph detailing my progress so far. Wtf... Hmmm...... Its called "fishing"... Also my references were contacted and fished. A complete waste of my time..... Do not recommend. I respond to last email and receive a generic ambiguous message. Very few questions asked regarding engineering and experience. I never had my references contacted before i had a interview, generally done later in hiring process. Seemed rushed and sloppy. I assume my resume never went any where. I could not find the company's address and building on Google map. I consider any agreements verbal or otherwise null and void at this point. Cheers!
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Provato Group (Cleveland, OH) in Dec 2011
Interview
I was recommended to one of the owners by a former co-worker who knew them. I had face to face shortly after the initial connect. This is an IT staffing firm providing contractors to their clients. Next phase was to meet the client and interview with them by phone, followed up with a group interview at the client's workplace.
