I applied through LinkedIn and received an email from the CEO later that day asking to schedule a call. After our initial conversation, we exchanged a few follow-up emails. The next day, the Vice President contacted me and invited me to an in-person interview.
The in-person interview lasted close to two hours. At times, the conversation felt informal and less structured than I expected, and I left without a clear understanding of the day-to-day responsibilities of the role. During the interview, there were several unrelated and inappropriate conversations, which made it difficult to stay focused on the position itself.
Throughout the process, both the CEO and Vice President asked multiple times whether I preferred part-time or full-time work. The job posting listed the role as part-time, and I expressed that I was comfortable with that while also being open to full-time if needed.
Overall, it was a unique interview experience.
