I was contacted about two weeks after submitting my application for a phone interview. The interview was with two employees, and the style was that of a typical interview where they asked about 10 questions about my interest and past experiences, and then left time to answer questions. The interview lasted way shorter than I expected, probably around 20 minutes and it did not really feel like a conversation but rather them reading off a list of questions. It became obvious that they were not interested about 5 minutes in. They said they would get back to me by the next week but I received no response. I had to reach back out after two weeks to get a response that they had already hired someone. Altogether disappointing for an organization that does such good work.
