I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at The Literacy Lab (Washington, DC) in Oct 2019
Interview
There was an initial phone interview that lasted about twenty minutes then an in person interview with one recruiter. I was contracted with an offer 30 minutes later. The process was about a week long from the day I submitted an application to the time I was able to start training.

Question 1
I don’t remember many of the questions aside from what my background was.
Phone interview then formal interview. Phone interview asked about position logistics, full interview involved a lot of questions about who you are, background and skills, how you would approach situations with kids, and then demonstrating skills live.
I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Literacy Lab in Jun 2022
Interview
The interview process was pretty straight forward 1st one was about who you are and talk about yourself and learn about the program then the 2nd one involves trying to do an actual reading assessment that you would do with students with the interviewer.

Question 1
How would you work with a student who was having a hard time paying attention during a reading session?
Very easy process, the only thing is the response times on their end was not consistent enough until the very end. I am grateful for their consideration and seems like a nice company to work for.
