I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Johns Hopkins University in Oct 2013
Interview
Submitted an application through the online system. Was called in for an interview 2 weeks later. Met first with a representative from HR and was asked a series of 'tell me about a time when...' questions as well as expectations for the role, future aspirations and salary range. Then did a skills test on the computer including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and a typing test. Then met with 4 would-be supervisors in a single interview. Pleasant group of people who asked typical interview questions. The experience was a nice balance of questions and conversation. Unfortunately, did not receive an offer. The whole process was very organized and very professional.
Not so long and very open! Happened during Covid so everything was virtually done. Love the experience. Interview was done in 3 different parts as well. Every supervisor was friendly. They broke down the job duties very much so too.

Interview
I met with an HR representative, Executive Assistant and a Chief of Staff for 20 minutes. It was a second interview, following a preliminary in-person meeting. I wrote thank you notes and prepared a writing sample in the hope I will be granted a third and final job interview. The third interview will take place in 2-3weeks.

Interview
It was a long process, but it was worthwhile because I had the opportunity to meet everyone on the team and understand the workings of the office and the culture.
