I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Hershey Company (Southaven, MS) in Aug 2014
Interview
Applied online then was contacted for phone interview about a week later. Interview was basic corporate behavioral questions so honestly just get used to them, I know there stupid and irrelevant but large companies will always use them. About a week after phone interview I was selected for this Skype type interview that had pre recorded questions and I had like a minute or two to respond. Also these were very corporate questions as well. The third part of the process was the field day with a RSR which I thought went very well because he did not ask me all the BS questions he just wanted to get to know me, get a feel for what kind of colleague I would be. The most upsetting part was not being turned down for the job but not getting any feedback on my interview progress whatsoever. I was emailed by the (do not reply mail) on a Sunday night saying they decided to move forward with other candidates. I was unable to get any kind of feedback what so ever. That was the most upsetting part, because if a candidate makes it that far along in the interview process give him/her the good graces of contacting them if turned down.

Interview
The first step was an in person interview
with HR and the hiring manager. You also did a ride along with one of their Sales Reps to see if the position would actually be a good fit for you and if you would be a good fit for the company. The rep evaluates you and advises management if you should move forward in the interview process, etc. Not certain if the process has changed.
I had multiple virtual interviews with friendly employees. After those, I had a field interview where I shadowed an employee in the role I had applied for. That is when I realized the job wasn't for me, though the employee I shadowed seemed to really enjoy his job. The interview process wasn't overly drawn out, it was straight forward, and I have no complaints.
