I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at The Haugland Group (Long Island-Queens) in Apr 2026
Interview
The interview process begins with an initial HR screening call. A few weeks later, you have an online interview that is mainly behavioral. The interviewer starts by giving an overview of the role and its day-to-day responsibilities before transitioning into a discussion of your resume, asking questions about your previous experiences, projects, and background. There are no technical questions, with the focus being on your behavioral responses and overall fit for the position.
Mainly behavioral, not a lot of technical questions. They talked about their company before shifting to stuff you have currently been working on. You will get a reply a few weeks after.
I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at The Haugland Group (Melville, NY) in May 2021
Interview
Simple and straight forward. Bring in a division head to assist. Bascially someone who would be involved with what you will be doing. Asks what you want to do. What software do you know how to use?
