      Licensed Insurance Producer Interview

      25 Nov 2013
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at The Hartford in May 2012

      Interview

First you do have to apply online. You can apply in person but you probably won't get hired. If your application is acceptable you'll be interviewed by only one person. You'll also fill out a second application and it goes back 10 years. If you make it past that and you have acceptable experience you'll be hired on temporarily. They hire in order to prepare the associates for the Annual Enrollment Period for Medicare. It's not too difficult to be hired on permanently. If you are selected to be hired on permanently then you'll be trained on sales. Then you'll complete a type of computer simulation of how the job works. It was really great.
