The recruiter confirmed a higher rate initially and didn't confirm which type of contract it will be. After 2 days, the account manager called and convinced me to agree to a lower rate (by about 10$/hour compared to what was agreed before). I budged due to the job market being horrible atm. The recruiter didn't provide timely updates or information I needed to work on a case study, so there was a 2-day delay in the whole process. And after my last round of interviews, I followed up multiple times to get a response. Although I didn't receive the offer, I needed to know whether I had to wait to get a confirmation on acceptance or rejection so that I could decide to accept another position and relocate. I explained my situation clearly, and I was just expecting to get some kind of response, but I have not received anything until I followed up 8-9 times (emails & calls). This is very unprofessional, and as a recruiting company, what else do you have to do other than reply to the candidates and just acknowledge the email?
