I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Energy Project
Interview
Met with direct supervisor and then CEO in person. Had additional Skype interview with another colleague between the two in person interviews. At the office, I was introduced to 99% of the current staff, who each gave me a great piece of insight on the organization and the culture. I was asked to share my success that would show I was fit for the position, but a lot of the interview process was around ensuring there was a cultural fit. Because the team was half the size at that point, not only was it important to establish I was a good fit in terms of the organization's values, but also in that we were a small team where everyone had their hands in everything - not something everyone can do.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Mostly unexpected - a lot of seemingly "personal" questions about my life, hobbies, family, upbringing, which seemed odd at the time, but completely fits into the culture here. At The Energy Project, you're not just an employee, but a true member of a community and a whole human being.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at The Energy Project
Interview
phone screen + 1:1 phone interviews + group panel interview + reference checks. It was a pleasure to meet each of my future colleagues, and learn more about the business and professional community I would be joining.
