I applied online then after few days got an email for open day invitation for cabin crew. I decided to attend an interview because I have heard a lot about Emirates company and how they support the individuals who are looking for good opportunity to start a career as Cabin crew in Emirates. However, I was totally wrong. When I went to the interview (open day) there was only one recruiter who was lady named ‘Katherine Newman ‘. She started to show videos about Dubai and culture etc then she started to collect resumes. The interview ended up with only most beautiful individuals like white or blonde. They even give them second chance to pass the group interview. That was the time I felt I wasted my time going there because the company is only looking for most beautiful candidates. I’m beautiful, but the person who is more than beautiful than u they will have first chance to get hired even if they are not qualified. I have done my program in college Flight Service and Cabin Mangement, so I have no idea why I should not be hired. Also, I have many years of experience in hospitality industry. I’m not most beautiful, but beautiful. Any one planning to go to the open house think about it. They do not even give the opportunity for group interview. They just collect resume and I waited 2 hours for my resume to be collected. That is ridiculous.
