I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Cheesecake Factory (Littleton, CO) in Oct 2018
Interview
It was kind of strange. The GM decided to do a group interview with me and two others. It was fine with me but clearly made the other two uncomfortable. Some questions have obvious answers so only whoever speaks first can often look like they have the best answer.

Question 1
What can you do to make sure a guest has a great experience?
I interviewed at The Cheesecake Factory (Fresno, CA)
Interview
Short and immediately hired. I will say they hire based mainly on recommendations from other employees. But the interview was good and I was explained everything that would be needed from me (licenses, food cards, etc) and they love open availability on the weekends.
informal chat, getting to know you, one round. I would say that it is more about knowing your personality but of course you are also tested practically too. For instance, can you work under pressure, can you work well with other people - the stuff that shows your personality more so than grades.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Cheesecake Factory (Los Angeles, CA) in Jul 2025
Interview
The interviewer was nice, and the interview was fairly straightforward. Not too many questions were asked. The environment was nice, and the workers seemed happy to be there. Really great experience.
