I applied online. I interviewed at The Center for Reproductive Rights (New York, NY) in Mar 2017
Interview
The interview itself went well. Everyone was kind, smart and engaged. Clearly they do great work. The process wasn't so great though. I was told after an in-person interview that I would hear back the next day. This seemed soon to me, but whatever. I never heard back from them at all, and my follow-up e-mails were ignored. A month later I get an automated message from their HR system saying I didn't get the job. (Yeah, no duh.) It's a junior level role so I realize they don't put much effort into communicating with unsuccessful candidates, but I didn't appreciate being given a clear timeline then ignored. If you meet someone in person, you should have the courtesy to take 5 minutes and send a personal e-mail.
