I saw the ad on a job website, applied online and thought they were a small marketing firm. The ad was very vague (1st red flag) and promised no RESIDENTIAL door to door sales. They called and set up an in office interview. When I arrived they made me bring a copy of my resume which they had already received online? (2nd red flag) Then they had a quick 15-20 min interview with me and asked very traditional questions. (3rd red flag, no creative questions that normal marketing firms ask) They did explain what the position would entail and it wasn't residential door to door sales like they had promised but it did include COMMERCIAL door to door sales. The basic feeling I got was that it included approaching companies and trying to get them to switch their cable, internet and energy providers to the providers that they "represent". I received a call back at noon that day asking for me to come to their office the next day for a day long interview. (4th red flag) I however let it go to voicemail and never returned their call. The next morning they called me again and again I let it go to voicemail, they called to confirm my 9am-5pm interview that I did not agree to.
