I interviewed at The Blood Connection (Raleigh, NC)
Interview
It was a simple zoom call with the manager of the district you’re applying for. They’re looking for problem solving, communication, and community engagement skills.
They’ll likely bring up how high turnover is and claim that it’s because the job is hard. That’s not why turnover is high.
Tell them you’re committed, ready to work, and flexible and you’ll likely get the job. Just be ready to be treated as disposable.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What would you do if you have an event coming up that needs 18 appointments but you only have 5, it’s 1 week away.
Practically they hire anyone who applies. Then they have you go for training, which is not useful anyway & no one takes it seriously. Don’t bother though, they fire people constantly for no reason. They hire 90% of crappy people and the good ones they don’t want

Interview
I applied for the position on a Sunday, HR called me the next day for a mini phone interview then proceeded me to have a zoom meeting with the director 4 days later. The zoom meeting went well, i felt comfortable, & she was very friendly. She proceeded me to the next step letting me know to look out for an email regarding the classroom/training dates (i wasnt sure if i was offered the job yet) so a week went by no word so i reached out to HR & they offered me the position. IM OVERLY EXCITED THIS IS AN ADVANCE IN MY CAREER & I CANT WANT TO START.
