I applied in-person. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at The Alamo Range (Naples, FL)
Interview
Submit resume and cover letter. Wait months for call back. Followed up with emails, phone calls, and in store visits to demonstrate my interest in the job. Scheduled interview. Arrived 15 mins early for interview. Sat down with Sales Manager and Operations Manager in quiet room to interview. They asked good questions and I gave good answers. I explained my range of experiences and interests which made me the best candidate for the job. I acknowledged each of them when answering questions. Followed up the interview with a letter thanking them for calling me in, recapping our discussion during the meeting, and reiterating how I was the right choice for the job. Sadly, they did no advance work to promote the store and continue to have lackluster marketing. So, I can't be hired because there are no upscale members of the range for me to service. I have to wait until the rich people return in the winter to get hired.
