My interview process with Thales was quite thorough, and I appreciated the structure. It began with an initial phone screening with HR, which was a good introduction to the company and the role. Following that, I had two rounds of virtual interviews.
The first virtual interview was with the hiring manager and focused on my technical skills and experience related to the position. They asked detailed questions about my past projects, my approach to problem-solving, and my familiarity with specific technologies. I was also asked behavioral questions, so I prepared examples beforehand.
The second virtual interview was with a panel of team members. This was more focused on my fit within the team and how I would collaborate with others. They asked about my communication style and how I handle different work situations.
Throughout the process, everyone was professional and informative, and I felt they gave me a clear understanding of the role and the company culture. They also made sure I had the opportunity to ask my own questions. It was definitely a comprehensive process, and I felt like they were really trying to find the best fit
