2 interviews with firm. First was in-person with head of New York operations. Interviewer spent a lot of time debunking myths related to lawsuits about the firm stealing information from competitors. Seemed really intent on convincing me that the firm put ethics above anything else and that they only hired people with the highest moral standards.
Second interview was over the phone with a quant in Chicago. Contrary to what I was led to believe, this interviewer spent a lot of time and effort asking me extremely detailed specifics of the trading strategy I was running at my former employer. I even had to stop him in the middle of the interview to tell him that I was uncomfortable giving away the information he was asking for. Nonetheless, he kept pushing away. Interview ended with a couple of pretty irrelevant technical questions. Did not follow up with the firm.
