I think they have an unwritten rule that all interviewees will wait at least 30+ minutes to speak to the hiring manager. I'm pretty sure this is some sort of test of theirs, but I think it's unnecessary, especially if they desperately need those people to fill the position.

Easygoing and the manager asked basic interview questions. Got the job on the second interview with the owner present. Took place in a booth during restaurant’s open hours and had to wear mask.
