The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Texas Roadhouse (Topeka, KS) in May 2011
Interview
They do a group interview that is at best business casual. You present yourself to the group and there are no real situation based questions. The hiring manager is very good at selecting personalities and believes in the training that gives you the ability to serve. They will hire you with little experience but usually dont start you serving if you have none.
In person with multiple people being interviewed at the same time as you, usually starts with the manager and if they like you, they would introduce you and the owner of the restaurant will interview you and give you the job on the spot.
Easy and straightforward. Talk about your experience and why you want to work there. Hired me on spot and organized my orientation days. Worked with my schedule and accept seasonal work.
