I received a call from HR, asking a number of questions about myself. A few days later, I received a call to schedule an in person interview with the head of the accounting department. In our interview, it was formal but comfortable, just a conversation for about 45 mins. Then I was showed where the offices were & met a few employees. A few days later, I was offered the position. The part I wasn’t aware of, is they do the checks after they offer the position: credit, reference, background, so there’s still a chance you don’t get the position.
