I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tesco (Penarth, Wales) in Sept 2018
Interview
I applied for the job through the tesco career site. I got a call two days later arranging a interview for the next day.
The interviewer was at the customer service desk when i arrived and we went to a quiet room at the back of the store. The interview was 1 :1 and was quite quite relaxed and informal.
Was told i would hear back in a week if i had got the job.
I got a call a week later and there had been a mistake. Apparently my interview notes had not been past on to the manager yet. By that time the role was filled already which was disappointing.

Can you think of a time you went above and beyond at work.
Interview was around 2.5 hours in total. Started with a group interview then 20 minutes on the shop floor shadowing a checkout colleague then finally a 1 to 1 interview with a manager.
Nice environment. Kind people. Asked the right questions and I felt I could ask any questions i had. Overall I enjoyed the experience and would recommend to other people to do an interview with them.
Very easy, just asked a few questions about my experience and my availability on time etc. what days i can work and my flexability on the dates i can do
