I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tesco (Livingston, Scotland) in Aug 2025
Interview
Interview was quite relaxed. Started with an explanation of the role and what is on offer followed by some standard competency-based interview questions. Ended with a practice run lifting trays of potatoes to get a feel for the kind of weight you would be working with.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a time you had to work as part of a team.
Simple questions about background and shifts I’d be able to work. If I’d ever done this type of work before. It was a short interview process that took about 30 minutes
The interview process was seamless, professional, and well-structured, with clear communication, respectful interaction, and supportive atmosphere, making the entire experience smooth, efficient, and encouraging for both candidate and interviewer. Not stress at all.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Tesco (Daventry, England) in Sept 2025
Interview
Easy and informal. Just a few questions about your life and a short assessment to show you what a normal day looks like as a warehouse operative. Then just fill out some documents, references, right to work, and that is.
