I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Terran Orbital (Irvine, CA)
Interview
Phone call with recruiter then tech screen and then onsite with a bunch of members of the team. On site was approximately 3 hours and alot about my experience to probe into where I could fit. Fairly straightforward and occurred within about 2 weeks
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
General systems engineering questions (how would I approach a conflict in requirements) and my experience
general satellite subsystem knowledge is needed
The interview process was 4 total rounds (1 recruiter, 1 hiring manager, 1 team member, then a final on-site panel interview with 4 rounds). Overall the questions were pretty straightforward regarding systems engineering. I would not say it’s a process you could prepare for super well more so a “you know it or you don’t”. They expect a quick response turnaround upon an offer….so be ready to accept or reject.

Question 1
What are the general subsystems that make up a spacecraft and what is your favorite/least favorite?
Easy screening by recruiter followed by a technical manager interview.
Warning, they WILL ghost you. I am the third person I know to interview at this company in the last few months and we all got ghosted.
