Interview
I applied through monster for a Mechanical Engineering position. Got contacted by email for a phone interview. Phone interview took 15 minutes, basic interview questions. Scheduled an in person interview. In person interview took about 2 hours. I was handed a sheet metal part and asked what the part was and how to make it better. Other questions to gauge my problem solving skills. I took a 45 minute Solidworks/AutoCAD test, in which I needed to create a sheet metal part and adjust already modeled assemblies. After the interview I was recommended to apply for a Sales Engineering position.
For the second in person interview I met with the head of Sales Department. I was asked questions to gauge my verbal communication skills and technical explanation skills. After meeting with him I met with the owner briefly to discuss the company and potential opportunities. I received an offer as a Sales Engineer. I started working 2 days later.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Terra Universal (Fullerton, CA)
Interview
Very lengthy in person interview.
Nearly 2 hours long, questions on everything imaginable. The interviewers seemed to foster a lack luster environment for employees.
Shown the warehouse and back offices.

Interview
I had a similar experience as another post.
The first interview was with HR over the phone. It went smoothly with very typical interview questions like tell me about your previous place of employment, what do you need to improve upon etc. I was asked to come in for an onsite interview at their Fullerton facility.
At the time of my interview process the main street the Fullerton office is located on was absolutely terrible. There were so many potholes from the trucks constantly driving by that I was really worried about the alignment on my car. At any rate, I met with a very friendly sales manager that gave me a tour of the facility and asked me about my technical background. It went really well and so he asked me back for a third interview. This is where the cordial, friendly nature of the interviewers ended.
The third interview was with the "top" sales guy and another manager. The "top" sales guy was 15 minutes late for the interview. The "top" sales guy asked me to sell him a microwave. He was very critical of my sales presentation and only offered negative feedback. The other manager told me that if I was offered the job I wouldn't be able to leave my desk in case a sales call came in. He said that another colleague "might steal the call". He stated that I would not even be allowed to go the bathroom. I thought he was kidding but he was very serious.
The overall atmosphere of this company was definitely not a good fit for my personality. If I would've been offered the job I would have had to decline the offer for my health's sake.
