I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Teladoc Health (Washington, DC) in Oct 2021
Interview
The interview was 4 parts. The first was a basic phone screen with a recruiter. The second was 30 minutes with a senior TPM. The third was an hour panel style interview with 2 senior TPMs and an engineer. The fourth was submitting 4 references to complete a survey.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe SDLC, questions about agile project management approaches and prior experiences with SAFe
Recruiter introduction interview followed by a group interview with hiring manager and potential peers. Predicatable questions, with no healthcare knowledge needed. Agile development experienced is preferred but not required. Relatively easy process.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Teladoc Health
Interview
3 rounds - recruiter screen, HM, panel interview
Initial recruiter screen was the only positive experience I had with this company.
Hiring manager round was general questions about the role and expectations, resume walkthrough, why teladoc etc.
Panel interview was very disappointing. Seems like company is looking to hire but do not have the time to take the interview or respect the candidate’s time for the interview. Had a panel interview with 3 ppl. One turned up who was not very welcoming. In 15 minutes, asked if you have any questions. Asked one question to the interviewer and was trying to run away. Did not even give time to ask if they themselves like anything about the company :D
I have given interviews in the past with other tech companies. And irrespective of how the interview is going, ppl still devote the time to know more about the candidate and how they can help contribute.
Also please define job description more appropriately. It will save your time and the candidate time as well. Win-win for both.
Offer or no offer - No to this company for sure
