The interview process was fairly normal, talked to their recruiter > director of engineering > take-home assignment, supposedly next round was to talk through the assignment & another hour for behavioral/meet the team.
The assignment was straightforward and consisted of 3 backend tasks and 3 frontend tasks. As a full-stack eng they wanted me to complete all of them and within their 2-hour suggested time frame. I was super interested in the position so I took my time and completed all of the tasks (in closer to 6-8 hours including adding and updating unit tests). My scheduled walkthrough interview was canceled the morning of due to my assignment not being up to par. I am thankful they did provide me feedback, however, it was only that I did not include enough error handling in my code.
Overall I just thought it was a bit nitpicky (since I'd have brought it up in the walkthru interview) but I understand that's their decision.
