Interview
Campus Recruitment. TCS came to our college and were giving presentation about the company and work culture. The hiring process began after one hour of presentation. The students in our college were sent to the interview panel based on their department and initial written test scores.
The Interview process went pretty much different for each of our students. In some panel the interview was conducted just 5 minutes/candidate whereas in some panel in went for 1 to 1.5 hours.
In short interview panels only basic behavioral questions were asked to candidates whereas in the longer panels coding proficiency was tested.
The shortlisted candidates where announced the next day of the interview.

Interview
After clearing the TCS National Qualifier Test (NQT), I attended a single interview round that combined technical and HR questions. The interviewer focused on my projects, programming knowledge, and understanding of current technologies. One of the main discussion topics was the difference between traditional software systems and AI-based systems. The interview was conversational, and the interviewer evaluated problem-solving ability, communication skills, and technical understanding. The overall experience was positive and the difficulty level was average.
