Unprofessional and Misleading Hiring Process—Avoid This Company
I was contacted by a recruiter from ScaleXT regarding a Senior DevOps Engineer role at Tally Group. After completing the interview process, which went well, I was verbally offered the position with a confirmed salary and a start date of 4th September 2024 which I agreed to. The whole process seemed rushed with Tally Group keen for me to complete reference checks and confirm my availability from my previous role. Based on their urgency and assurances, I resigned from my position—something I would have never done without a firm commitment. I was staring this role in like a week from this actual verbal offer.
Unfortunately, everything changed after that. I received vague excuses about pending approvals, despite Tally Group insisting that the process was just a formality. Weeks passed, and the promised start date came and went without a formal offer. I followed up several times, only to be met with more delays and unclear communication.
Eventually, I was told the position was "on hold" indefinitely with no clear explanation as to why. I was left in a precarious position. Tally Group's lack of professionalism broken promises and disregard for my situation was astounding. To make matters worse, I later received an email trying to shift the blame on me, saying that I should have never resigned without a written offer —despite them pushing me to complete the hiring process in the first place!
If you're considering applying to Tally Group, think twice. They may lead you down a path of false promises and leave you hanging. Avoid this company if you value your time and career.
Please note there is another interview review of Solutions Architect for this company which reflects pretty much the same scenario so kindly don't think this post is just frustrations and blabbering for no reason they actually are incompetent.
