Interview
Submitting resume, cover letter, writing sample and transcript. Contacting me after a few days. In-person interview in Asahi office by the producing manager. very relaxing environment and comfortable taking style. she will ask couple of normal questions regarding your understanding of this company as well as the job. then there will be a short language test because this small office is based on Japanese languages environment.
The interview was done by a young Associate Producer who seemed to have very little experience interviewing applicants. The interview itself was somewhat disorganized and the interviewer seemed distracted by other tasks.
I arrived early for interview but was told to wait in a room for a while past the scheduled time. This bureau did not come across as well organized as I expected from a Japanese broadcaster but this office might be an exception.
