First I received a phone call from one of the Talent Acquisition. I was told that the interview process is going to be in person at Bangalore Office and I was asked to make necessary arrangements for the travel. I received this call 10 days before the interview and was given a week to decide to attend or not. No explanation was given about the role or the job description. After one week, I received another call. So, I clarified all my doubts and questions about the role. And I was told that the Interview is scheduled on May 3 2024 and there is no assessment or test for this role and only one round of Technical interview and one round of HR interview. I was told that this Internship Program is for 9 months to 1 year and may select further based on performance. Salary would be around 25 - 30K per month. And offer letter be given same day. A day before the interview another Talent Acquisition called me and said that the internship duration would be 6 months max. And there is no specific role they are hiring for, based on performance they will put you in any given project. Hybrid working. Only one round of Interview Technical plus HR. And offer letter be given same day. So, I decided to attend the interview as I lived very far from Bangalore and travelled the location. Upon arriving to the office I was asked to register myself in the register book. To my surprise I got to know that they conduct walk in interviews daily for 50-60 people. My schedule time was 10 am to 12 pm. They collected our resumes and the interview started at 10:30 am sharp. I was called there were 3 interviewers in a room. One of them was a HR and other two were Senior Technical Recruiters. Started asking everything that was on resume. I answered everything to the best of my knowledge. I asked them about the role. To my surprise they said the duration would be 3 - 4 months only with office working. I knew I did well. They asked me wait for 30 minutes before proceeding further. The interview lasted for 20 - 25 minutes. I was told that I performed well in the interview. After a few minutes they called me again and I was seated in a room then Two more recruiters started interviewing me. I was surprised because I was told about only one round of interview. They Started asking everything on the resume but in depth. They began asking questions from easy to hard level that I have no knowledge or idea of. And they wouldn't let me finish my sentence. As soon as I start answering the questions they seemed not interested and were talking to themselves or swiping on their phones. Questions asked - Tell me about the process, methodology, libraries used for a given real world problem, a real world problem would be presented and need to explain everything from the start with code on the white board. Lastly they were not satisfied with answers they started asking me about the Company and HR questions. They seemed to not to hire anyone. The interview lasted 20 - 25 minutes. I left the room in disappointment. Then I was told that there would be another round of interview. Then I saw some 5 people who came with me to the interview were called by HR. I waited for few minutes, I was called and they said "You are done for the day. You may leave. We will inform you about this ASAP". No more questions and they left saying this. There was no answer from them. I tried calling them but they didn't receive. They waste your time by calling you to the office. And they lie you about the selection process and never get back to you.
