I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at T.K. Maxx (Ayr, Scotland) in Apr 2011
Interview
Was invited in for an informal chat with one of the department managers. In a dismal room, interviewer was creepy. Didn't sign a contract. The employer was good in relation to the hourly rate they offer to staff which is above minimum wage
Group interview then individual interview. It was easy. They asked questions and wrote it down on a white board. Individual interview was asked a tough situation ive been in and the solution.
Easy, they just want to see that your availability is good and you can follow instructions. Don’t talk about your degree or any corporate experience they reject people for being overqualified
I applied online. I interviewed at T.K. Maxx (Southend-on-Sea, England)
Interview
The interview was based on normal questions for a retail position. The manager was lovely and very calming. A great place to work very supported staff and management are great.
