I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Susquehanna International Group in Nov 2013
Interview
I applied to the position by submitting my résumé at my university's career website and completing an application at the company's website. I was then contacted via email by an HR representative, who scheduled a phone interview. The interview itself consisted of questions regarding my personal background, academic record, motivation for applying to the job, and whether or not I played poker, followed by four probability questions. As I only able to answer three of the probability questions, I did not advance to the on-site interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There are two baby boys and an unspecified number of baby girls in a nursery. A new baby is born and added to the nursery. Then, a nurse removes a baby from the nursery at random. Given that the baby chosen by the nurse is a boy, what is the probability that the newborn baby is a boy?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Susquehanna International Group in May 2024
Interview
I attended the 2024 Sophomore Discovery Day program, which already included a resume screen, online assessment, and short call with a recruiter. Thus, I began the 2025 recruiting process with a 30 minute phone call with a trader. There were a couple of questions to get to know you and then 2 math/game theory questions. It seemed very important to get the right answer and less focused on the approach.

Question 1
One question related to expected value, other related to game theory/making decisions

Interview
Online digital test (probability, logic, graph) and a telephone interview. The numerical test questions were mostly on the basis of probabilities. Nothing very complex. It requires above all logic and knowledge of basic theorems.
